Kindly note that following discussions and agreement reached at the Tripartite Consultative Labour Council that there should be a way to regulate the formation and registration of Trade Unions in order to control the multiplicity of Trade Unions that has become a practice in the Country, the Government has issued a Statutory Instrument No. 30 of 2026.(click here) The SI. 30 has introduced new measures aimed at promoting unity, accountability and coordinated solutions within trade unions across the Country.
