ZAMBIA FEDERATION OF EMPLOYERS – CALL FOR CVs FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Zambia Federation of Employers was formed by an Act of parliament (Industrial and Labour Relations Act (CAP 269) of the laws of Zambia). It was formed purely to promote and protect the interest of employing enterprises, both in private and parastatal sectors. Hence, the principal objectives of
ZFE are the protection of members’ interest and the establishment, promotion and maintenance of good industrial relations between employers and employees throughout the country and to be the highest and central organisation of Employers representing Employers to the Government and the Labour movement. The Zambia Federation of Employers (ZFE) with funding from the International Labour Organisation (ILO) is implementing a project “Promoting the employability and employment for persons with disability” the project is focusing on building capacities of both the supply and demand sides of the labour market by providing incentives that increase capacity and confident for inclusion of persons with disability in employment. ZFE will centre on strengthening the skills and confidence of its network of member companies/employers by making them become more aware of disability issues and develop inclusive workplace policies.
One of the key activities of this project is the establishment of an Internship program for persons with disabilities which will run for Four (4) months with a focus on contributing to the reduction of unemployment of PWDs. It is against this background that ZFE wishes to call for CVs for persons with disabilities.
Interested persons with disabilities are encouraged to submit their detailed Curriculum Vitae to zfe@zamnet.zm copying zfemployers@gmail.com with the subject of the email titled “ZFE Internship for Persons with Disabilities”. The submission should take into account the following points:
- Cover Letter;
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae;
- Certificates;
- Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities Certificate of Registration.
The deadline for submissions is 29th July 2022.
